We begin with fuel draining and pre-inspection. The fuel tank gets safely drained down to minimal reserve levels for fire safety, and we document the bike's existing scratch status before anything else happens.
From there, mirrors come off. Rear-view mirrors are unscrewed and packed separately, while handlebars, meters, and headlights get wrapped in thick bubble cushioning.
Next is full-body wrapping - the petrol tank, side panels, exhaust pipe, and mudguards all get enclosed in heavy-duty 5-ply corrugated cardboard sheets.
Finally, the bike goes onto a specialized container truck, gets positioned upright, and is secured with nylon ratchet tie-down straps for the journey ahead.
